Online Network Marketing. Video 3: Relationship Building.

As we’ve learned in the first Online Network Marketing Training Videos, the big picture regarding how to make money from home online with Internet Marketing and Online Network Marketing really is based on:

1. Knowing Your Target Market
2. Direct Response Marketing
3. Building A List
4. Building A Relationship With Your List
5. Monetizing Your List

Now that we’ve covered the basics of Building Your List, it’s time to Build Relationships. But how?
Watch this review for some tips you can start using fast to gain more exposure and build a responsive list:

The formula, as much of online network marketing, is simple:

1. The K.L.T. Factor. Getting your prospects to get to:

KNOW you
LIKE you

2. Delivering VALUE to your market.

They came looking for information and training.
Over-deliver it. With training calls, emails, blog posts, videos, articles and many other forms of communicating and explaining how your solutions will help solve your prospect’s frustrations.

3. Building Relationships.

It’s never been easier. Online you have a wide variety of free tools and resources you can use to help build relationships with your market. I’ll focus on the tools I use consistently in my business to do this:


It’s a golden tool. My resource of choice because a can stick a simple invite in any email that my prospects receive from my autoresponder that invites them to “get to know me better” on my facebook page.

On facebook it’s like a “one-stop-shop” for building relationships because you can post comments, upload pictures of you and your family, upload videos, post facebook notes (mini blogs) and offer invitations to training, as well as posting little training tips on the same platform.

Facebook is completely mainstream, meaning, people won’t feel you’re pushing them to some “sales presentation” so resistence is low. Everyone is familiar with facebook these days so it’s like sending people to “meet you” in a public, safe place where real networking takes place and not just pitching each other deals, or programs.

When my cold market leads (from my advertising) subscribe to my list, they do NOT know me, like me or trust me. So it’s critically important to “warm up” your cold advertising traffic as soon as possible within the first couple days they are on your list. If you take the time to do this, your chance of keeping that prospect on your list long term increases.

People don’t unsubscribe from your list when they feel you’re friends. You don’t bail out on your buddies.

Facebook is a great tool for this. Relationship building with facebook.

Facebook is also great for FINDING new people too. More on this in another training.


Another GREAT resource that is free. You can link to your YouTube Videos from your facebook page. I’ll show you exactly how to CONNECT all these pieces so they form ONE SYSTEM of building relationships and delivering quality content to your market.

You can post a variety of video content on youtube to help “warm up” your leads to you and deliver the content they were interested in. All the while, they will be “getting to know you” and the TRUST factor will go up which leads to sales.

Types of videos you can post:

1. Review Videos – 3-5 min vids that break down the benefits and features of different products, services, programs and systems you are promoting. Sellucation: selling by educating your prospects.

2. Training Videos: Teach your prospects a variety of skills using screen capture videos that SHOW THEM step by step how to do a variety of things… These are valuable because people get accustomed to receiving your training content which is a HIGH perceived value for them.

3. Lifestyle Videos: Show them the authentic YOU. Share thoughts, ideas and concepts. “Hang Out” with you prospects and get to know each other.

4. Social Networking: By commenting on your prospect’s videos and leaving comments and messages on their YouTube channel you gain more exposure, warm up your relationship more and get close to attracting your prospects deeper inside your marketing funnel.


My personal favorite. YOU NEED YOUR OWN BLOG. Period.

As you can see, my blog is a Central Command Center for all my marketing, training, sharing and relationship building.

When I make a youtube video, I post it on my blog.
When I make a training post, I share it on my blog.
When I write an article, it’s on my blog.
When I invite my facebook friends to training tips, it’s on my blog.
I invite cold leads from my autoresponder to my blog.
I link from my videos, facebook, twitter, and articles to my blog.

EVERYTHING goes on my blog.

THIS is where your BRANDING happens. It’s the Central HUB of your marketing.

A blog can do a couple BIG THINGS for you:

1. Build RELATIONSHIPS and your BRAND.
2. Generate it’s own Traffic (more on this later)

By combining EVERYTHING you do here on your blog, you have ONE PLACE to invite your subscribers where they can find information FOR DAYS and what happens is this:


You become a SOURCE for their learning.

And everything on your blog leads to your personal sales funnel…

Back to your Lead Capture Pages which flow into your sales presentations…

Which generate sales in ANY offer you wish to promote.

These are only a few of the different tools available to you that help automate and LEVERAGE the process of BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS with the traffic that your Direct Response Marketing activities will generate.

Later, these same tools can also GENERATE targeted traffic for you as well.

And the traffic you generate from your Blog, Facebook and YouTube is FREE. And the content you post in these spaces is PERMANENT and long term meaning:

The Search Engines Host It FOREVER and when you post it with focused and specific keywords in strategic places like we show you, then you’ll be positioning yourself to attract targeted free traffic long term and on autopilot.
