How To Move From Average to Exceptional

by Franco on April 19, 2011

Okay, so maybe someone reading this right now is “average”
but they want to move from average to exceptional.

How can they do it? Here are some steps:

It’s simple.

All you have to do is understand how the elite
(the people above you) think and act and then
slowly assume those same characteristics.

Here’s some ideas for you…

Wealthy people stand on the receiving end of the cash register.

Average people stand on the other side.

Wealthy people don’t have to “see things work” first.

Because they (1) believe first (2) act second and then they
(3) see. That’s how wealthy people operate. They believe first.
But the average person says, “I’ll believe it after I see it!”

And they block themselves from seeing anything outside
their already faulty mindset programming…

Wealthy people are simply “little shots who never stopped shooting” and
they WILL themselves to become “big shots.” Wealthy people don’t
quit and thus, only experience defeat… not failure.

So then through their defeats they analyze what isn’t working so
they rearrange what they’re doing wrong until they win. On the
other hand, average people quit at the first sign of rain and so
failure (quitting) becomes actually who they are, i.e. “failures.”

Failure becomes their labor of love and they obsessively talk
about it with passion and conviction… it becomes their “program.”

What else?

Here’s something else that will serve you today…

Wealthy people usually were once broke. But what they
do is they “home school” themselves and are typically
voracious readers. “How-To” books, biographies and books
on personal development become their breakfast, lunch
and dinner… they get passionate about “hanging out”
with people of HIGH ACHIEVEMENT in their books
and documentaries and biographies…

Average people, ironically, seem to never “have time”
to read or learn and their “learning” usually is done on
autopilot by what they watch on TV or hear on the radio…

They allow failure and mediocrity to be programmed into them.

“Show me a busy man and I’ll show you a success story” — right?

Exactly.

And that’s how life and nature works.

“Use it, (your mindset) or lose it.”

Try this:

Try getting up 90 minutes earlier every day and then
go to bed an hour later. In essence why not add a few
hours to your day which relates to adding to your earning power.

And what that does is get people into disciplining themselves.

That is all “success” really is: DISCIPLINE.

Discipline is CONTROL. Control over your thoughts, control
over your time, control over how much your learn, control over
how you relate to people and how well you can control your
perceptions to the events around you.

DISCIPLINES of DOERSHIP

1.Wake up 90 minutes earlier and go to sleep an hour later.
Work longer and harder while you have to.

2. Read five to ten pages every day on something that can
elevate you as a person.

3. Don’t look for the “rah-rah” of MLM. Instead, become a
great student of the psychology and marketing process of MLM.

4. Take on two or three more tasks of projects that you simply
“can’t do” and DO THEM.

5. Start erasing your self appointed boundaries by expanding
your “Can Do” options. Decide “I can” because you can.

6. Start to journal. A life worth living is a life worth recording.

7. Write down 10 goals on a 4×6 card and wrap that card
around your bill fold. Carry your goals everywhere in your
car, in your bag, etc. Force yourself to read them 3 times a day.

8. Have an emaculate home office, car and home. 99% of wealthy people do.

9. Your living quarters is a reflection of your mind.

10. Find a mentor and be an apprentice for two years.
All great leaders were once great followers.

11. Make sure the people you’re following (in fact) are successful.

12. Most “wannabe’s” follow wannabe’s. Like attracts like. Raise your standards.

13. Get a second job if you have to. And celebrate your efforts and the extra cash!

14. Create the time you’ll need for your home business. NOBODY has “extra” time.
So make it. Period.

15. Change your mind. You won’t grow until you change your mind. Change your mind.

Want more good stuff…?

Find me… on google, facebook etc… and get on my list.

Onward,

Franco Gonzalez

You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic
to be really something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and extremely broad for me.
I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the
hang of it!

It’s nearly impossible to find educated people about this topic, however,
you seem like you know what you’re talking about!
Thanks

May I simply just say what a relief to find somebody who really knows what they are talking about
online. You definitely realize how to bring a problem to light
and make it important. A lot more people have to read this and understand this side of the story.
I can’t believe you’re not more popular since you most certainly possess the
gift.

thing is maintained over here.

Why users still use to read news papers when in this technological globe everything is presented on net?

a knockout post May 31, 2022 at 10:20 pm

Hi there would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with? I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a difficult time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S My apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask!|

Hello! Quick question that’s entirely off topic.
Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly?
My blog looks weird when browsing from my iphone.
I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to fix this
issue. If you have any suggestions, please share.
Appreciate it!

Yes, Yes, Yes! Since we live right on the banks of the Missouri River, there are many lessons from nature to learn. Let go of the Shore! That’s a huge lesson for anyone. The debris along the banks of the river just sit there – trapped and unmoveable – attracting more and more similar debris. We do that, too, hang on to the secure, safe edge, afraid to just take the plunge and let go. Until you can do that, you will be stuck with all the others who tremble and quake at the thought of taking action that might fail. Let go of the shore . . . get out in the flow!
