Use several solo advertisements to test how well this version converts when compared to other versions. Testing is vital. To continually improve the conversion rate of your advertisements and their placement, you must test and record your results.
When creating a sponsor advertisement on the top of the ezine, avoid making an attempt to sell anything, rather give something away. Giving special reports, resource guides, subscriptions, etc, will add to the trust your reader has in you, and allows yoiu to get more traffic to your site and or to provide readers with valuable information that will keep them coming back to you which will allow you to upsell. Clearly communicate that nothing is for sale and that you simply want them to take action for free.
Format your ezine advertisement correctly before you place it in your ezine. For the best results, you should format your advertisement to 60 to 65 words. If the text isn’t formatted properly, lines will be broken and wrapped unprofessionally.
Setup contracts with ezines owners. Exchange ad space or create at least one high quality, exclusive article each month.
When combined with pay per click advertising, banners, and other smart forms of marketing, ezine marketing works even better, creating a dynamic advertising force that drives hordes of highly targeted, pre-qualified visitors to your website.
