Building an Attraction Marketing Relationship
Attraction Marketing leads qualified customers directly to your business. Attraction Marketing is more about “serving” than “selling.” There are many marketing vehicles that you can use to attract customers, such as your website, an ezine, article marketing and giving free teleseminars.
If you use your website to attract your customers, you should take the time to understand how your visitor’s online experience can lead them down the buying path. But first, you need to “become” your visitor. What convinces you to buy things from other websites? Most of us are more eager to buy from companies or people whom we feel we like, know, and trust.
An online customer can’t look you in the eye and shake your hand. But, the good news is that by taking shrewd advantage of the internet and of good writing, you can provide your visitors with the experience of having a positive, personal relationship with you.
Build your relationship with them from the moment they hit your site. Show photos of your workplace, employees, and other relationship building photos. This helps visitors feel more like they know you. Tell your customers about your products or services. We all learn differently and we all feel the ability to trust at different levels, incorporating an audio file is not only an excellent tool for additional website content, but a great way to show that you are a real business. Educate your visitors. We all like to learn, and your customer may find a small piece of information that may encourage them to become your customer. By sharing useful information with your customers you are simply stating that you are generous with your knowledge.
Care about your customers. Ask for feedback and comments. This helps customers know that you’re in the business of serving them and that you take their opinions seriously. Clarify and define any confusing terms in your copy. Let them know exactly what you want them to do for you. When people feel comfortable with their online experience, they’re more willing to make a purchase. Be an Expert. Let your customers know that you’re the only one who can help them. Be Genuine in everything you do whether its writing information for your website or responding to a customer. Be Relateable and convince your target audience that you know and understand their problems. Share stories and specific examples in all you write. Stay in Touch with your prospective customers.Do not let them slip away. Make every effort to get them to give you their first name and email address by offering them a free ebook or report. Send them a regular newsletter with useful tips and friendly updates about your company and services.
