The540Plan ROCKS! It's converted like a ROCK STAR for me since it launched. I personally feel it's the best thing that ever happened to Infinity800…

I sent out an update to my team about Infinity 800 last week. In marketing, when you have a large organization, YOU MUST BE HONEST and keep your integrity… sometimes at the risk of ticking some marketers off for a bit…

You just can't keep your head in the sand if there are challenges that need to get overcome…

And to be fair, I wanted to also post an update so my team knows EXACTLY what's going on and so they can continue to be direct, straight shooters, with no hype and build LOYAL teams that RESPECT you… even when you're not telling them "what they want to hear"

If you're in this industry for the LONG TERM (as I have been for the past 8 years full time) then you'll want to think about that BEFORE succumbing to the EASY way out of just keeping the HYPE turned up and your head in the sand all in the name of "short term dollars"

Anyway, here's a response email I sent to a teammate about the Infinity800 program and where my personal opinion is on the matter…

SHORT VERSION: If the owners are minding the store AND taking care of US (the sales team) with integrity and looking out for our reputations… they WILL TAKE CARE of this baby and let it grow up to be a powerful program…

If they don't… and if they make mistakes with the Matrix and/or with paychecks…

THE COMPETITION WILL RENDER THEM EXTINCT… that's just the reality WITH ANY program out there…

Long version:

I can imagine your frustration. After so many years of marketing from home it's still as frustrating to find programs that make sense… and tap into systems that sell them well… and then see the companies make bad mistakes when all should be going well.

That's a very frustrating thing. You just never know what's coming and it's mainly in the newer companies that you see this.

Having said that, i800 did send out checks. To be honest, Pammy received a cycle commission check on Saturday, which means that I probably finally got a big check too…

I'll find out for sure as my company mailing address is to a UPS Store so I don't have to be home all the time to receive and sign for mail and packages.

They were closed on Sunday.

So tomorrow morning I'll be going to make my rounds and if I see a big fat check from Infinity800 be sure to expect an email from me letting the team know about the update.

Here's the thing. I like and respect the founders of i800. As people and marketers they are good folks. But after missing paychecks for 5 weeks and also having "troubles" with the MATRIX (the important HEART of the whole program) I couldn't be a responsible leader to my team and NOT speak out to my team.

I KNOW that the founders are also on that list and that they also received it.

I was not the only leader that "communicated with their team" about this… and I think together, we caused them to get off their butts and get serious about fixing what ever was the issue…

If that's what helped, then great.

The program has great promise. It's a great price point with a great concept as far as compensation.

If they just take care to stay on top of everything this should be a great build.

It doesn't mean that the weakness I saw are not real though and it's important to weigh those also…

What I've seen in 2×2s is that they are REALLY fun when EVERYONE is driving traffic and pulling their own weight.

But SPECIALLY for new marketers… if your team is NOT actively advertising and promoting… then you have no leverage.

If you have no leverage then it's a simple direct sales program where you have to make 6 sales to get paid… so you have to make 6 sales, which is $1160 in sales… to keep a $540 commission and you wait until all 6 sales are made before you get paid…

See the difference?

That's a net of less than $100 per sale…

There are many other affiliate programs out there where you can offer a better end product, and a smaller cost and get paid more per sale AND get paid after each sale…

That is a $197 TERRIFICALLY valuable Internet Marketing Course my friend Jonathan reated and which I sell to my email list… and it pays $100 commission right now… and is about 100 times more valuable than the info product attached to i800…

I say this ONLY to lay out what the "market will say" too… it's important. People DO pay attention to what else is out there and that can affect sales…

So from a marketing stand point…

IF THE TEAM is actively marketing and pulling their own weight…

YES there is SO MUCH more leverage with i800… Hands down you can cycle MULTIPLE times and without your own efforts…

IF THE TEAM IS ACTIVE.

If the team is just sitting on their hands because they refuse to treat their business like a real business and advertise it…

Then it's not so productive (or attractive to others)…

That's really all I wanted to articulate in my last email…

And it's why I feel other programs that are run in a more SERIOUS fashion and that have been around for a solid three years with the same leadership… and already have complete marketing and training and duplication systems… and that I feel proud to refer to professional grade people as well as a brand new marketers (because I know they'll be in a solid place to learn home based marketing) - That is going to be my focus…

Because like you… I care VERY DEEPLY about what I'm presenting to the market place. YES I test a variety of concepts…

But I have to select what I think makes my company and my team more attractive to serious people…

The 540 Plan is a good converting system. I800 is a cool program… I hope they just really mind the store and take care of managing it's growth so we can continue to offer it and grow a powerful team…

And I'm supposed to believe that the 10 or so cds in a biz op "product" at the $2,000 pricepoint is somehow worth more? Yeah right…

And you see, there in lies the rub… people KNOW it's about the money. It's about leverage. Internet marketing. Traffic Generation. Attraction Marketing. It's about using simple technology to leverage the power of the internet and GET PAID from home, right?

Then you can invite them to Power Prospecting System to get free training on how to really succeed with online marketing…. you do that by writing some emails in your aweber account for the BlazingList database… use the content that you learn from the Power Prospecting training back office audios…

4. Now you've just generated leads from a free list builder by offering free traffic… they become a hotter lead by getting into your PPS to get some free training…

5. You've made money probably a couple times from BlazingList upgrades and also sales of the funded proposal in PPS… and your emails go out every day on autopilot from PPS, inviting your prospects to buy more stuff, learn more stuff or visit your primary program to make big money…

At this stage they are the HOTTEST leads in the industry… you can then feel confident calling them to THANK THEM for their purchase… and ask them if they need ANY help in making money online… you can very well get them to see how organized your own business is and they'll want to learn more from you… and you'd be happy to work directly with them… IF they join you in your primary program…

And that's how this "System" comes full circle…

You can then use this same approach to target network marketers and existing online marketers in other free list building sites or in ezines, blog comments, video comments, myspace and facebook comments, messages and bulletins and in your own blog, and in the discussion forums… see what I mean???

Offering free traffic and real online marketing tactics and training is the BEST offers you can make to build a targeted, responsive list… it's always worked the best for me…

So many people waste the advertising spaces with blatant pitches for their programs… it's ineffective mostly… but it's ok… just puts you head and shoulders above the rest…

Be sure to take action on this plan of attack. Don't hesitate. There are tons of list builders out there you can use… and specially social networking sites and blogs and video sites… this information is enough for you to build a nice big list… I took this same concept and applied in ONLY in discussion forums (blogs, myspace, videos and facebook were not popular when I started) and built a SUPER valuable rolodex and relationships that I've leveraged later to make tens of thousands of dollars…

Hi. I wanted to share a step by step tactic or "Marketing Plan" that anyone can use to tap into all kinds of free traffic and low cost traffic sources that normally doesn't convert well at all…

But first the problem:

Most people get "blinders on" and really closed minded about internet marketing. What do I mean?

Well, they're trying to fit a square peg in a round hole by getting into these beautiful automated internet selling systems, but then trying to ram the high priced systems down the throats of other marketers and people that are NOT asking for that pitch…

I've seen so many terrible ads out there that I just smile… that's the "competition…" YES!

You see most marketers get lazy and think that their system is "one size fits all" and nothing could be further from the truth. If you are targeting existing online marketers, then you need to really pay attention here because I SHOULD be really charging for the following information…

Existing online marketers are the hottest target market if you're promoting an online home business system. But there is a certain psychology you must use in your approach to this market… by definition they're already trying to sell something remember?
