I have a guy Charlie on my team. You do to. If he’s not on your team yet, he will be before too long, trust me.

You see Charlie just got started in one of my automated online marketing systems and has invested a total of $50 into advertising. That has generated Chuck about 10 opt ins and… “surprisingly” no sales.

Chuck hasn’t done too much else. He’s waiting to see if this “thing” really works before he spends more money or, God forbid, put in any effort to generate even free traffic…

He’s starting to email me everyday about what to do to get some of those 10 people on his list to buy or join him…

He’s kinda sounding like he’s mad at me or something. Real frustrated is Chuck. He’s a “bidness owner” and this is not working. Been at it a whole 8 days too…

I wrote back to Charlie and you may want to take note and save this post so you can send it to your “Charlie”…

Hey there Charlie,

I’ve invested about $800 total in my list building system for my first month.

$300 for the monthly fee.
$500 in advertising. Mainly in “[tag]attraction marketing[/tag]” ads and list building with ezine solo advertising.

I’ve had a great month! The return has been super but the big thing about any of these direct sales comp plans is putting in systems where you get some duplication from your team.

Simple Freedom has that in spades with the copywriting on the site. Don’t know exactly why it’s converting so much better for my newbies and I may not be interested in really digging for that answer. I just know it’s been great for team duplication.

This coming month as these commissions roll in, I’m definitely scaling up and building growth by reinvesting a percentage of profits into more advertising. And that’s what I mention to my team as well.

You can definitely drive more traffic with more money. As in any business. In [tag]traffic generation[/tag], if you test and find the marketing “sweet spot”, it’s then just a matter of how much traffic can you buy?

What I see with some people who are new is that they go out and invest in some traffic or advertising, lets say for example, $100.

And they see they have 10 opt ins or whatever… and start stressing about how there have been no sales yet…??

We have to know that this is NOT a slot machine. Or a microwave. It’s a business. You may or may not get a sale with your initial investment of marketing. Nobody know for sure whether that ad will pull a sale.

But depending on how well written it was and how well targeted it was, as far as where you place it… you test… and see what numbers come in…

Sometimes it’s a good source and you just have to stick with it and be consistent.

Some people get a sale within their first couple opt ins… great. Others have to drive about 100 in to generate the first sale…

It’s not a thing about placing an ad and getting immediate sales. May or may not happen. But that should NEVER be the goal.

A business person starts a business with a Marketing Plan. Come hell or high water, you have to decide on a consistent monthly budget and a consistent marketing plan of action and stick to it for your first YEAR.

You adjust the strategy and plan as numbers roll in. But you can’t just say… “well, I’m gonna try this thing and invest $100. If it “doesn’t work” then I’ll move on…”

Anyway… sorry for the rant…

But at some point people need to understand the mindset of an entrepreneur, a business person. It’s not gambling…

But this system has shown it works extremely well when fed some good traffic. People are receptive to it’s message and it’s process.

It’s just a matter of fine tuning the quality traffic you send into it… and then it’s the “classic” battle of:

“Where in the world do I find TONS more traffic???” LOL…
