Do your leads really work?

Person emails me after receiving my email
teaching about how I use a certain lead resource…

And asks: Do these leads actually “work” or is
it that you just have a big list and can sell them?

Here’s the actual email:

Hey Franco… How many actual sales have you made with the leads that LTTW provides? I tried them and their leads over a year ago and they stunk!

I know you must have a personal list of 50K and you are making a killing with this by simply sending it to your list… BUT very few people have a good list or really any list to market to…. that’s why this program is enticing… but what’s the reality…

The other question is how do we market to the 200,000 and 2,000 buyer leads? Does the system come with an autoresponder or mailer system to send emails to them to get them to opt-in and view the SLF presentation? Or voice broadcast? AND is that an extra cost??

GREAT QUESTIONS!!

But the real questions are hidden
inside the visible questions…

Questions inside of questions…

That’s how it really goes in this industry…

You have to learn to “hear” the REAL QUESTION
being asked to actually help coach and lead
people FORWARD and not let them keep
hurting themselves with delusional expectations
or wishful thinking or just lazy assumptions…

Interesting.

You hear that a lot from people who subconsciously
are expecting ANY resource to “hit home runs” for them…

Or they say, “I tried that before but it didn’t work for me…”

Yet guys like me make ANYTHING “work” for us.
That just doesn’t make sense, right?

It CAN NOT work for one person…
and then NOT work for someone else
unless there is some kind of “pilot error” right?

Here’s my response to him…

Yes. 100%

MOST people BOMB with this
or ANY lead resource but it’s
because they don’t operate
in a serious manner.

Their tactics are lousy.

They never stick to it.

They “try” it and if the
leads are “lousy” they quit trying.

Yet, guys like me roll in and we
wrestle with this resources UNTIL
WE GET THEM TO PAY.

Big difference.

My list IS XXL large Joe, but
where do you think it was built from?

I do EVERYTHING.

I’ve been using Tim’s leads since
he released the program almost 2-3
years ago and I use ALL KINDS of methods
to communicate with them…

1. Email
2. Voice Broadcast
3. Post Card
4. Dial n Ditch Method

I do everything possible to
try and filter in the few that
are actually interested from
that pile.

But here’s the thing…

The SAME thing people are doing
right now with “facebook” or ezines,
or traffic exchanges. post cards or
any other way that they are fumbling
around with trying to get some leads…

MOST of the time, it’s their method
that is faulty… not the “lead” itself.

So for some people (like me) I’d
be way more interested in wrestling
with the actual PROCESS and testing
and tweaking it… from the offers all
the way down…

But knowing I at least have leads
to work with…

When everybody else is out there
screwing around online trying to
“generate their own lead” and failing
at that too…

So I NEVER look at it as:

“Are these good leads?”

Because hanging out with millions
on facebook, people can say the same
thing… “lousy leads” and “they don’t work”…

It’s in the process and in the persistence
of the marketer.

Most people just SAY that they “tried them
and they didn’t work” because they didn’t
get rich in a month making one phone call
or blasting one email.

Most people don’t ever work them ENOUGH
to even have any data to judge and when
they do… they never consider the fact
that they process, their approach and their
ad actually is more lousy than the lead.

An your other point too… about people
with “big lists” making all the money in
this LTTW offer…

Robert… really, and I say this with a smile.

Isn’t this the same NO MATTER WHAT
OFFER IS OUT THERE?

There are PROFESSIONAL direct
sales people out there who have had
the skills to build their own large lists
and they are pitching some fruit juice
in a MLM…

You can say the SAME THING about
them… “Sure it works for THEM because
they have a big list… etc etc, but they are
just enticing the little guy…”

The WHOLE point is to elevate your
skills so that YOU CAN build a big list
and have more success in the industry
with ANY OFFER…

That’s the whole point.

Market better…
Build a bigger list…
Get better at marketing to that list…
Make more money…

It’s NOT your responsibility
to STAY at the level of the clueless
newbie… we were all there… some
of us actually take this serious and
increase our skills….

So it’s IMPOSSIBLE and not really
realistic to assume that you have to
only market in ways where the new
inexperienced and non skilled new
person HAS TO succeed just like you
too…

It’s ALWAYS going to take them
some time to:

1. Decide to take this industry seriously.

2. PRACTICE enough to actually get better.

MOST don’t do either one.
MOST just are looking for a way to “get rich”
easy and fast without doing anything.

I can go on and on man…

I’ve heard all this for over a decade.

The bottom line is that LTTW leads
have actually been a big source of
WHY I have such a big list today anyway!!!

That’s been a part of my arsenal for
over a couple years.

I send post cards…
I send voice broadcasts…
I send emails…
I use a “dial n ditch” method…
I use sizzle line voicemail boxes…

AND YES…

MOST other tools cost money.

You need tools to market.
You need tools to build a patio…
You don’t go to home depot and get the hammer and nails free…

Why people expect EVERYTHING here
to all of a sudden be free is delusional…

haha

But it’s the way it is for many people…

But look… as an entrepreneur…

In most of these cases, you DO buy
additional tools but…

You pay for them ONE TIME…

You use them as long as you don’t quit…

AND

Most come with referral comp plans
so you can monetize them and make them
profit streams too…

So…

YES of course this and any other good
tool costs money and it depends what
the marketer wants to do with that resource…

They may only need to pick up the phone
for an hour a day and call them. Period.

And generate a sale or two…

Then add some simple post cards…
Make a couple more sales…

Add a voice broadcaster…

Get some more sales…

And actually BUILD THEIR BUSINESS
like a real entrepreneur growing as they
get better…

That’s the productive mindset to have.

But anyways…

I hope my info helps…

What people do with it is dependent
on their own assumptions and mindset…

Works for me.

It’s how I built my business.
A big part of it anyway.

And it converts to cashflow…

That is really what people are
looking for anyway and it’s why
it converts so well.

Couldn’t have said it better..
In 50 years never met a bad lead..some better than others.
Just contracted a lead from 2008 $38,000)…but did keep the steady drip going and personal communication.
