The one concept that dramatically decreased my confusion, info-overload and overwhelm:
- I identified WHY I wanted to make money online.
- I decided to keep it as simple as possible.
- I decided to learn how to use the Internet to make sales.
- I focused on learning simple Affiliate Marketing to cash flow first.
- I then layered my increasing skills on top of these basics.
Simple affiliate marketing helped me start cash flowing and taught me the fundamental skills of marketing online.
While my affiliate marketing brought in cash flow, I then layered my increasing social media marketing skills on Facebook and Twitter to help me locate new traffic daily for my affiliate offers and my email list.

The next layer was my blogging skills. I focused on content marketing and started creating helpful posts that answered questions I noticed my market audience always had. Those pieces of content were placed on my blog. I then went to my social networks and linked over to them daily (even multiple times a day).
That completed the cycle in my business.
These layers work to compliment each other but it all started with a focus on simple affiliate marketing.
Everything else was build on top of that foundation.
I’d recommend starting out by using affiliate marketing to promote something that a large market already buys, uses and needs which is evergreen and universal. In my niche of helping new marketers online start and build their businesses, I offer this Internet marketing tool suite and training program.
